The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed in regards to the large quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue created for intervention activities a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to enable the servicing of all customers and enhance entry to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
